Privacy policy

This page explains, in plain terms, what beyblade-toys.com does with your data. The short version: the site is a catalogue of Beyblade products that links to Amazon, it has no account, no cart and no payment, and the only thing we measure is which product links get clicked.

What we collect
When you click a link to Amazon, and only then, your browser sends a record to our own server (api.digiblock.fr). That record contains:
- the page you clicked from, and the Amazon link, product title and product identifier (ASIN) behind that click
- the marketplace (Amazon.com or Amazon Japan) and the page that referred you to us
- your browser user agent and the device type derived from it (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- a one way, salted hash of your IP address, never the IP address itself
- a random identifier stored by your browser (see below)
Nothing else is collected. There is no account, no form other than the search box (which runs entirely in your browser), no newsletter, no payment and no order data.
The identifier stored in your browser
The site stores a random identifier under the key aff_sid in your browser local storage, so that several clicks from the same visit are not counted as several visitors. It contains no personal data and is not a cookie. The same key is also used by the other sites operated by E-COM JBC, which means a visitor recognised on one of them is recognised on the others.
You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site, or avoid it entirely by browsing in a private window. The site works exactly the same without it.
Technical logs
Like any web server, ours may keep standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, user agent) for security and troubleshooting.
Amazon
Our product links carry an affiliate tag. Once you land on Amazon, Amazon applies its own privacy policy and its own cookies, and we have no control over that. We never see your Amazon account, your order or your payment details. Amazon only reports to us, in aggregate, which items were ordered through our links.
Third parties
Product images are currently delivered by a third party image host (Shopify CDN), which therefore receives the technical data any image request carries. We use no advertising network, no analytics suite and no social media tracker.
What we never do
- We never sell, rent or share your data with advertisers
- We never build advertising profiles
- We never ask you for a name, an address or payment details
How long we keep it
Click records are kept for as long as they are useful to measure the audience and the performance of the catalogue, and are deleted on request.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, you can ask for access to your data, its correction or its deletion, and you can object to it being collected. Write to contact@beyblade-toys.com. Because the data we hold is pseudonymous, please tell us the approximate date and the page of your visit so we can find the matching records. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).
Changes
Any change to this policy is published on this page, with a new date at the top.
